The Jewelry Fair 2011 does not disappoint!  How can you possibly go wrong with such an inspiring theme and high quality, talented designers?  The fair is full of tons of great quality, reasonably priced (and a few great freebies and cheapies) new designs to tantalize your senses.  I know they certainly have mine!  I’ve been visiting each booth…at least twice, trying to decide what I can get the most of with my budget.  And I’ll more than likely be going back a 3rd time before it is over.

The fair runs from the 16th until the 25th this year.

The designers are spread across four sims and element themes:  Air, Fire, Earth and Water.  Each unique sim is completely styled, created and atmosphered (is that a word?) into its respective element.  Let’s take a look!

A quote from the organizers:

“With 4 sims packed with more than 100 amazing booths, we hope that this will truly be an experience to remember! We have aimed to please and are really excited to share this amazing fair with…the public!”

When you first land at the fair, you are on a platform with teleporters to each of the 4 sims.  This platform also has signs from each of the designers that are on that sim, to help you find who you’re looking for.  Or you can just visit all of them as I have over and over!

The air sim hosts many of the Gatcha machines as well as all of the one of a kind auction items.  Be sure to visit these and bid on your favorites before they end on September 25th.

Each sim has a central area with teleports that you can use to the other sims.  That way you don’t have to go back to the main landing to move on to the next place.

The Air sim is very heavenly in nature.  From the great sunset type lighting to the winged unicorns to the cupid statues, it is quite beautiful and rich in feel.  Gold everywhere and puffy white clouds, help to complete the setting.

There are more Gatcha machines on the fire sim that you can have fun playing with for a few linden!

Each shop is nicely highlighted with their signs surrounded by old, broken trees and a bit of greenery in the vines.

Even if the dark is not your thing, you definitely should explore this sim in its whole.  The great light settings and lots of red, flowing lava make for fun photoshoots!

The island seems to be one large tree and its surrounding vegetation, with roots twisting and turning through the vendors.

The vendors are built right into the tree itself, many using the greenery as a surround for the shop.

This sim has a definite ethereal feel!  With trees that look like they could speak to you and flowering mushrooms that are sure to be hiding fairies, how can you resist such a gorgeous setting!

Moonlight bathes the boardwalks as you stroll through the various designers booths set here.

The designers’ huts themselves fit in perfectly with the surrounding decor.

I believe that the water sim is my personal favorite as far as setting goes with the many green plants and water lilies floating on the reflective, blue and green water.

Title: ”D is for Deviant”

Theme: Deviant means it is not normal. A person or thing that is quite far from being normal or what is considered the “norm”. It is something or someone that is “unusual”. Here are a few synonyms:
aberrant, anomalous, atypical, bent, devious, different, divergent, freaky, heretical, heteroclite, irregular, off-key, perverse, preternatural, twisted, unorthodox, unrepresentative, unusual, untypical, variant, varying, wandering, wayward, weird

Items: These will be split between different types. So that we have a better variety. It will be split up as follows (I may have left some categories out):
-No more than 10 jewelry items
-No more than 15 furniture/decor/building items
-No more than 10 womens clothing
-No more than 10 mens clothing
-No more than 5 tattoos/makeup layers
-No more than 5 poses/animations/gestures
-No more than 5 shoes/boots
-No more than 10 other accessories
These items of course can flex a bit depending on how many apply and if I decide to make the hunt limit more than 50.
