Styling Goddess Apparel Part 1 or 4 “Period Clothing”
There are so very many wonderful designers and shops in SL that I keep running across that are new to me. A couple of days ago I found “Goddess Apparel”, by owner and designer Athene Forder. She has a beautiful style and brings it across in many different period dresses as well as things you could wear in modern days. She creates gowns, casual clothing, silks, and masks too! All her items are no copy/transfer so you can easily give them as a gift. And all prim & sculpted parts are modifiable for easy fitting. This lovely dress comes in 10 different color options, all of which can be worn two ways. As you can see here, the forward facing pose shows the Purple layers for the top with Lilac skirt. And the beautifully detailed back is shown with all Lilac layers. The other colors available in this 20’s inspired gown are: Aqua & Teal, BloodRed & Black, Blush & Rose, Gold & Umber, Ivory & Black, Ivory & Tan, Mint & Green, Silver & Pewter and Sky & Blue.

Styling “Guinevere” called for some Guinevere hair! And I used my new skin I bought from Gala Phoenix of Curio! This gorgeous gown had so many color options I couldn’t decide. I am showing Cream & Blue, but you can also choose from7 other options: Blue, Cream & Lilac, Cream & Maroon, Gold, Green, Lilac & Maroon. Not only does it have color options but three different skirt options (including the train pictured in the bottom photo) and long sleeves with prim pieces for the upper arms, or the beautiful sleeveless option shown with the train photo.

Styling Kis Kis
Another great store find while doing a hunt!!! Bastet Hazelnut opened her adorable shop, Kis Kis, in the summer of 2009. All of her designs are handmade by herself, including the prims and sculpts used. All of her clothing is copy and modifiable. Her designs are fun to wear and great to mix match! I’ve been wearing one of the outfits around all day I loved it so much, as you will see in a later post 😉 So….let me show you the two outfits I put together!! First up we have a mixup I did with High Waist Skirt, Ladies Tee & Over Knee Socks. This was a blast to put together! The High Waist Skirt comes in 5 different colors, with many many layer options so that you can mix & layer your outfits easily…I love it that she does this!! The skirt hem is flexi and this lovely little number is normally priced at L$129.
The Ladies Tees are available in 6 different color options…and she just might add more colors at a future date, so be sure to join her group to know if this happens! Again, the lovely feature of many different layers is a huge plus! And the shirts are priced at L$70!
Finally the Over Knee Socks…who can resist! Coming in at L$80 each, you can choose from 6 different colors currently. Don’t miss the added details of flowers stitched on the front and back. Two layers available: socks & shoes.
High Waist Skirt comes in 5 colors. Layers: jacket, shirt, undershirt, pants, underpants. The skirt (hem) is flexi. Normal price is 129 L$.

The 2nd outfit I had the honor of wearing is Ice Cream Girl. This elegant little dress is a high waisted skirt and top all in one. I am wearing the Licorice option, but it comes in 6 flavors total. The other 5 include: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint and Banana Blueberry. Again, lots of layers are included here so you can choose how you want to wear it. The sculpted skirt includes a resize script so that you can easily fit it to your form. This lovely dress goes for L$130!
